programs in the nation.
OSU Cowboys 2004 gives special recognition to the school's
unequaled wrestling, golf, basketball and baseball programs.
Legends Ed Gallagher and Hank Iba are featured along
with stories and photos of Pistol Pete, one of the most
recognizable and oldest of all college mascots. Only
at OSU, they had the original Pistol Pete for 35 years
beginning in l923.
Also featured are the tailbacks from Tailback U. They
began with Bob Fenimore in the 1940s, and have continued
on, highlighted by Barry Sanders, who in 1988 achieved
one of the most remarkable seasons in all of college
sports.
